Reebok CrossFit Frankston has a competitive background that dates back to 2010. The competitive athletes that come out of the gym are a very small percentage of the member base but we still like to provide a platform for our members to express and develop their talents to be competitive nationally and internationally. We have outlined a pathway to improve as an athlete with several phases outlined. The first ones are accessible to most and the later ones are more performance/ results-based. As a whole gym, we like to get behind every individual whether they are just working out for general health & fitness or trying to be the best in the world.

Athlete Phase 1

Understand & Learn Complex Movements

You can achieve this by really paying attention in the classes and applying what you learn over and over again until it becomes a skill. We also recommend doing some personal training sessions with our coaches so they can guide you in the right direction and speed up the skill development process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our standard rate is $75 for an hour session.

Athlete Phase 2

Train 5 Days Per Week

In order to make any significant progress, we must master consistency. We don't add any extra training until we can handle a low volume and high-intensity training program. The magic is in the intensity, not the volume. So adding more may lower your intensity and slow your progress until you build consistency.

Athlete Phase 3

Strength & Accessory Program

This program has extra strength, lifting, gymnastics and conditioning pieces to complete each week.

Please note that the class workouts are still to be done every day, this program is an add-on to the class workouts, not a substitute. We still require everyone to listen to the class brief and participate in the class warm-ups.

Athlete Phase 4

Set Goals & Work Your Weaknesses

We recommend having specific focus points, like working on pull-ups. So every time that movement shows up in the program, you give it 100% energy and focus. You set yourself little targets and work towards them. Doing personal training sessions can really help with weakness training too.
